Into the Swiss Alps.

The Swiss Alps as immortalized in the novel, ‘Heidi’.

We were waiting in the Vernazza train station for our train, and one of the tourists, a woman in her 70’s asked where we were going next. We told her that we were going to Gimmelwald. And she said, “Oh, yes I’ve been there. The moment I saw the place, I sobbed uncontrollably because the place reminds me of Heidi.” And surely, spending a few days in the Alps makes you realize why Heidi would have loved this place so much. We too, would have loved to stay here forever.

The simplicity and serenity of the the Swiss Alps is breathtaking.
